AUK & Arizona State University: Second Bachelor’s Cohort under the AUK-ASU Dual Degree Program
American University Kyiv is pleased to announce the start of studies for the second cohort of bachelor's students under the AUK – Arizona State University (ASU) dual degree program. This year, 36 AUK bachelor’s students have become members of the academic community of one of the most innovative universities in the USA.
While the majority of students are completing their ASU coursework online with full immersive support, one student is attending classes in person on campus in Arizona.
Through this dual-degree partnership, students gain direct access to ASU’s world-class curriculum, international faculty, joint research initiatives, and global peer networks. Under the current collaboration, ASU offers four bachelor’s programs for AUK students: Bachelor of Global Management, Bachelor of Science Data Science, Bachelor of Science Digital Strategy and Audience Engagement, Bachelor of Science Software Engineering.
Irma Minchuk, a student of the AUK Marketing Science bachelor’s program and AUK-ASU student,
“Getting into ASU through the dual-degree program was very easy. I felt supported throughout the whole process, and it did not even feel like a full transfer to another university — I only had to submit a few documents. I really enjoy studying at ASU. Even though my classes are online, I still receive a lot of interesting and high-quality information from experienced professionals. I also really value the freedom to choose my courses — almost half of them are electives, so I can study what I am genuinely interested in and what is useful for my future career. It is also a great opportunity to earn an American degree and experience the American education system at an affordable cost, while having access to many career opportunities offered by ASU.”
Arina Kvasolia, a student of the AUK Global Management bachelor’s program and AUK-ASU student,
“What I like about studying at ASU is the flexibility. Since the courses are asynchronous, I can choose when to work on assignments and fit them around my schedule. It’s also easy to arrange a call with my coordinator if I need help with course registration or anything else.
The courses are interesting, and some assignments involve group work. In the first quarter, I worked on a project with girls from different countries, so even online, we still get to connect and work together. Although there are no live classes, instructors are quick to respond whenever I have questions. Overall, it’s been a good experience so far.”
