AUK celebrated its VERY FIRST bachelor's graduation alongside our third master's graduation!
A historic milestone for American University Kyiv!
Last Friday, our campus hosted a truly landmark event: AUK celebrated its VERY FIRST bachelor's graduation alongside our third master's graduation!
Our Class of 2026 bachelor's students began their journey in Fall 2022 —during the most challenging period of Ukraine's modern history. Despite all the obstacles, they earned an innovative American education, proving that nothing is impossible for Ukraine's youth.
This year, degrees were awarded to:
- Bachelor’s graduates in Business Administration and Global Management.
- Master’s graduates of the unique dual-degree program from AUK and Arizona State University (ASU).
- Master’s graduates in Global Management, Technology Leadership & AI, and Software Engineering.
During the ceremony, AUK President Dan Rice congratulated the graduates,
"Your studies were filled with extraordinary challenges, but you walked this path with incredible resilience. Your studies have probably been more difficult than any other students, from any country, at any time. But you rose to the occasion, and you excelled! You will all lead Ukraine forward to a bright, prosperous, and amazing future. Slava Ukraini!"
On behalf of Arizona State University and Cintana Education, congratulations were also shared by AUK’s Founding President and current President of Cintana Education, Rick Shangraw,
"I met many of you four years ago when you were just beginning this adventure at AUK. I couldn't be more proud of what you have accomplished! It is my honor to bring warmest greetings from ASU President Michael Crow and, of course, the entire Cintana Education team. The fact that we are graduating our very first bachelors who walked this challenging four-year path with us is truly fantastic. Congratulations from the bottom of my heart!"
