AUK "Honor" Scholarship for Service Members, Veterans, and Families of Fallen Defenders
American University Kyiv in partnership with the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation is pleased to continue the AUK "Honor" Scholarship in 2026. The program provides educational opportunities for active service members, veterans, their family members, and children of fallen defenders of Ukraine.
AUK "Honor" Scholarship covers 99% of tuition for bachelor's and master's programs.
Who can apply? Applicants who meet AUK admission requirements and belong to one of the following categories:
- Bachelor's programs:
Children of fallen defenders of Ukraine
- Master's programs in Kyiv:
Widows and widowers of fallen defenders of Ukraine
Combat veterans
Active service members (excluding conscripts) who are eligible to study at higher education institutions
- Master's programs in Dnipro:
Children of fallen service members
Active service members
Children of service members with combat experience
Individuals with war-related disabilities
Guardians of children of fallen heroes
Spouses of active service members
Children of SES (State Emergency Service) personnel and fallen SES personnel
Application deadlines:
Bachelor's programs: until 21 August 2026
Master's programs: until 18 September 2026
