Pass free of charge English test

To qualify for this course, we ask you to pass Duolingo English Practice Test to check your approximate level.

What level of English will I have at the end of this course?

The AUK Prep Express course will help you to improve your writing, speaking, reading, and listening skills in English and boost your confidence to study at the university in English.

Does this course offer a certificate?

Upon completion of the AUK Prep Express course, students will receive a certificate. Those students who achieve a final grade of 70-100 will get a Certificate of completion. Those students who complete with a grade below 70 will get a Certificate of attendance.

Does this course offer any additional bonuses?

Successful completion of English qualification tests during AUK Prep Express course will count towards the English level requirement for entering AUK. Additionally, AUK Prep Express students are becoming part of AUK’s vibrant community of students and get access to the AUK Library as well as invitations to AUK events.

Why should I take an English proficiency test before start of the course?

To qualify for the AUK Prep Express course, it is important for us to understand your current level of English. To ensure you have relevant study materials and are effective in group assignments, your current English proficiency level should be at least B2.

What is the schedule of classes within the course?

Online classes with an instructor will take place twice a week on Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The online speaking club will be held once a week on Fridays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The course is scheduled to take place from May 26 through August 1, 2025.

Can I pay in cash?

American University Kyiv does not accept payment in cash. Payments can be made online through our website, or you can request an invoice from the finance department.

What if I fail?

If you do not meet the requirements for completing the course, you will not be entitled to receive a Certificate of completion, you can only get a Certificate of attendance.

AUK Prep Express online preparatory course is designed specifically for prospective students applying to bachelor's programs at AUK Dnipro Campus.

Now, American higher education is available in Dnipro — offering dual Ukrainian and U.S. diplomas, English-language instruction, international faculty, and a modern campus at the Menorah Center.

The course includes online English classes and a speaking club with native speakers to help you confidently prepare for studying in English at the university level.
