Professor Viktor Putrenko Takes Part in the 25th International ESRI Ukraine User Conference

On October 13–14, 2026, Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University in Chernivtsi hosted the 25th International ESRI Ukraine User Conference "GIS + AI: New Horizons of Development". The event brought together representatives of government institutions, local self-government, business, science, and education to share their experience in using geoinformation technologies and artificial intelligence.

Professor Viktor Putrenko took part in the conference and delivered a talk titled "The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Geoinformation Research." The talk focused on integrating AI tools into the preparation, processing, and analysis of geospatial data and the creation of applied geoinformation solutions. Particular attention was paid to the use of cloud services as an environment for geocomputing, the automation of analytical procedures, and the application of deep learning models.
