Professor Viktor Putrenko Participated in the UNESCO Workshop on Ethical Impact Assessment of AI in Education and Science

On June 18, 2026, Professor Viktor Putrenko participated in the Workshop on Ethical Impact Assessment of Artificial Intelligence Systems in Education and Science, organized by the UNESCO office in Ukraine.

The workshop focused on two main areas: the presentation of practical AI implementation cases in Ukraine, and a hands-on training session on ethical impact assessment of artificial intelligence.

Viktor Putrenko took part in the panel discussion "Integrating AI Ethics into Practice: Challenges and Perspectives for Education and Science," during which he presented AUK's academic programs in Software Engineering and AI, and Data Science and AI.

The discussion addressed the transformation of the educational process under the influence of AI, the associated risks to academic integrity, and the prospects for the development of university education in the context of the widespread use of artificial intelligence.
