Sergiy Tytenko Visited the University of Alicante: Academic Meetings and KnowledgeMaps AI Presentation
Sergiy Tytenko visited the University of Alicante, the Department of Software and Computing Systems, and the GPLSI research group for a series of academic meetings and research discussions.
During the visit, he presented the work on KnowledgeMaps AI, developed at the AI Research Center at American University Kyiv — a practical LLM-based system for interactive concept maps, learning content, and learning analytics — and discussed how AI-driven knowledge representation can support next-generation digital learning environments.
Special thanks go to José A., Yoan Gutiérrez Vázquez, and Miquel Canal Esteve for the very productive scientific discussion and for the opportunity to review the results of their joint experiment, reflect on the current findings, and outline possible directions for future research.
Warm thanks also to Rafael Muñoz and Manuel Palomar for the opportunity to meet in person, discuss broader institutional cooperation, and strengthen the relationship between the University of Alicante and American University Kyiv.
This visit was an important step toward deeper collaboration between the institutions in the areas of AI, natural language processing, educational technologies, and digital learning innovation.
