Olena Yencheva is a Senior Manager of Educational Programs at American University Kyiv, where she also teaches Ukrainian Language. She holds a Master’s degree in Ukrainian Language, Literature, and English from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and has over seven years of experience in the field of education.

Olena combines strategic leadership with academic engagement, overseeing the development and coordination of educational programs while actively contributing to the university’s teaching mission. She has enhanced her professional expertise through participation in the Leadership for Educational Transformations program at the University of Warwick.

Passionate about preserving and promoting Ukrainian linguistic and cultural heritage, Olena integrates contemporary methodologies into her teaching to equip students with strong language skills and a deep appreciation of Ukrainian identity.
