01 Initial Contact with AUK

Reach out to the AUK program coordinator by filling out the form to discuss potential cooperation.

02 Opening call

Schedule a meeting to clarify program details, your specific requirements, and the preferred collaboration format.

03 Internship Offer Development

Prepare a comprehensive internship description:

Responsibilities and key tasks
Duration and location
Required skills and qualifications
Internship format (offline, online, hybrid)
Additional conditions (compensation, visa support, relocation, accommodation, insurance)

04 Candidate Selection

The AUK team promotes the internship, collects applications, and shortlists candidates. You can interview or assess selected applicants.

05 Logistics and Administrative Support

AUK assists with logistics and legal matters. Employers cover student employment costs, including relocation, visa, accommodation, and insurance for international internships.

06 Internship Launch

Interns begin their assignments, engage in projects, and contribute to your organization. AUK remains in contact with both you and the interns, offering support as needed.

07 Internship Evaluation

At the program’s conclusion, assess intern performance, provide feedback, and issue recommendation letters if applicable. Employers may also extend job offers for future collaboration.

This summer was full of exciting moments, but one in particular stands out. During our internship program, together with Dan Rice, we had the honor of welcoming two talented interns to Casey’s.

I had the privilege of representing Casey’s in Washington, traveling with AUK students and visiting key institutions such as CISA, the Embassy of Ukraine, and the Pentagon. We had the chance to meet inspiring leaders like Laura K. Cooper, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russia, Ukraine, and Eurasia, and John F. Kirby, former Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs, and to learn more about their important work in supporting Ukraine.

The most meaningful part of this trip was experiencing firsthand the impact of the war in Ukraine. These students are strong, intelligent, and tirelessly positive despite all the challenges they face. Their questions and passion for their work reflected their unwavering dedication, and I am deeply grateful to Dan Rice and Kristina Ivanchuk for making this unique opportunity possible.
