Since joining our government relations and international logistics teams in August, our AUK interns have brought fresh energy and perspectives that have enriched our operations. They have been a great addition to our company culture, and we’re excited to support their growth through the AUK internship program

The Global Internship Program gave us the opportunity to bring talented AUK students to our company for a multi-week internship in New York City. The impactful program allowed the students to further their professional growth while also educating our colleagues on Ukraine and its culture. Their fresh outlook added a profound element to their time in our NYC office

Michael Kennedy
Head of Human Resources for Doka USA

We were completely impressed by the level of talent, work ethic, motivation, and professionalism from each of these students, they didn't just complete tasks, they took the initiative, asked insightful questions, and contributed valuable ideas that had a real impact on our business. Their dedication and fresh perspectives reminded us of the importance of investing in the next generation of professionals

Claire Greiner
Head of U.S. Retail Sales for Blackstone Private Wealth Solutions

This summer was full of exciting moments, but one in particular stands out. During our internship program, together with Dan Rice, we had the honor of welcoming two talented interns to Casey’s.

I had the privilege of representing Casey’s in Washington, traveling with AUK students and visiting key institutions such as CISA, the Embassy of Ukraine, and the Pentagon. We had the chance to meet inspiring leaders like Laura K. Cooper, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russia, Ukraine, and Eurasia, and John F. Kirby, former Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs, and to learn more about their important work in supporting Ukraine.

The most meaningful part of this trip was experiencing firsthand the impact of the war in Ukraine. These students are strong, intelligent, and tirelessly positive despite all the challenges they face. Their questions and passion for their work reflected their unwavering dedication, and I am deeply grateful to Dan Rice and Kristina Ivanchuk for making this unique opportunity possible.

A very special thank you to Kseniia Piskun and Sofia Holovko for being part of our team this summer. You inspired me more than I could have ever imagined, and I will always be grateful to you.
