135 bachelor's students began their academic journeys at American University Kyiv

This past Monday was the first day of classes for our bachelor's students!

135 new students were welcomed to American University Kyiv to begin their academic journeys.

Before the start of the first academic year, our newcomers attended the New Student Orientation Day at the AUK Campus to meet fellow students, faculty members, and staff, and to get an overview of the resources and support services available at AUK.

AUK Head of Student Life Department Jake McGrew addressed AUK students, "Congratulations and a warm welcome to American University Kyiv, the community of energetic, ambitious students, international teachers, mentors and AUK team members who are always ready to help! Our team is always on hand to answer any questions you may have and guide you through the university's facilities. Welcome to AUK!"

AUK senior program managers Olena Yencheva and Iryna Prokopyshyn also addressed AUK students with opening remarks while sharing presentations about educational technologies, apps and tools at AUK, principles of academic integrity, program information, and introduction to student life.

"We are thrilled to have you join our vibrant community of scholars and learners. Our mission at AUK is to create the best learning environment for you to discover and develop your talents for your future career growth”, emphasized Olena Yencheva, Senior Program Manager, EPAM School of Digital Technologies.

We hope you enjoy your time here! Take as much as possible from your studies, including having access to the curriculum of Arizona State University and having the ability to get a dual-diploma. Happy start of the year!", stressed Iryna Prokopyshyn Senior Program Manager, School of Management.

On behalf of the AUK Team, we wish all new bachelor's a joyful learning experience, many opportunities to make new friends, and to have a good time!
