The biggest event of the year in Ukraine’s IT education, the Synergy IT Business & IT Education Conference of IТ Ukraine Association, took place on November 28. It brought together representatives of higher education institutions, industry experts, owners of educational businesses, educators, and members of educational communities.
The main focus this year was the rapidly growing Ukrainian EdTech sector, which is shaping the future of the IT industry. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in educational technologies, immerse themselves in innovative solutions and learn from industry leaders.
Participating at the conference, Sergiy Tytenko, Deputy Dean of EPAM School of Digital Technologies at AUK, presented a case study titled "IT Education in the American Style: Industry-Oriented Curriculum and Internship" that highlighted the dual diploma model and internship program for AUK students.
In particular, Sergiy Tytenko discussed AUK's industry-oriented learning approach and hands-on internships, showcased the accomplishments of AUK students in the US and Europe internships, and unveiled the new AUK program – Digital Design & AI, aimed at equipping students with cutting-edge skills in UI/UX.
