American University Kyiv and Creditwest Bank Ukraine have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at developing young talents, education in Ukraine and exchanging best practices within the framework of the AUK Global Corporate Partnership program.
Creditwest Bank Ukraine is the first Turkish bank in Ukraine, which has been providing high-quality banking services to Ukrainian and international clients since 2006.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Management Board of Creditwest Bank Ukraine, Igor Tykhonov, noted,
“As a financial institution, we care about the development of not only the financial market, but also our country as a whole. Therefore, we actively cooperate with communities and youth, implementing progressive educational practices, supporting sports and fostering sustainable development principles. We are pleased to join the cooperation with AUK, whose mission is to develop future leaders of Ukraine. After all, together, we can always accomplish more.” As part of the ceremony, Igor Tykhonov presented the bank's commemorative medal—a sign of cooperation and solidarity—to AUK Vice President Oleksii Shershnov.
"As a university that offers American-style education, we collaborate with different businesses to create education that has a strong practical component that meets modern business practices," Oleksii Shershnov stressed. We are pleased to welcome Creditwest Bank Ukraine as a partner in our Global Corporate Partnership program. Together, we will provide young people with relevant real-world experience, internships, scholarships, lectures, and training programs based on actual business cases”. This partnership opens up new opportunities for students and will contribute to the development of education in Ukraine.
