American University Kyiv announces the appointment of Sergiy Tytenko as the New Dean of the EPAM School of Digital Technologies
In this leadership role, Dr. Tytenko succeeds Dr. Alexandra Antoniouk, who will continue her journey with the AUK team as the Deputy Dean of the School.
Sergiy Tytenko is an Associate Professor at AUK and an accomplished expert who previously held the position of Deputy Dean. He has authored over 50 scientific publications and has deep expertise in software development, with a primary focus on software systems architecture. His practical experience also covers the full cycle of web development, from backend architecture to UI/UX design, as well as the development of mobile applications and intelligent EdTech systems.
In addition to his academic activities, Dr. Tytenko is actively involved in the IT industry, working at the intersection of technology strategy, digital product architecture, engineering team development, and the implementation of modern approaches to software development.
As the newly appointed Dean, Sergiy Tytenko will focus on scaling AUK's academic programs, expanding scientific research, enhancing public outreach, and strengthening the university's strategic partnership with Arizona State University.
Commenting on his appointment, Sergiy Tytenko stated,
