At AUK 2024 Commencement Ceremony, American University Kyiv established its annual awards which will be granted each year to AUK faculty and students.
While announcing AUK awards and addressing AUK learners and professors, Rector of American University Kyiv, Jacek Leskow stressed, “I am amazed by your dedication to academic life and research, by contributing all your energy, knowledge and skills to growing AUK during these challenging times and by creating a truly educational hub and open, honest, dialog-driven learning environment”.
The award nominations include:
- Academic Excellence Award (criteria: for dedication to studies reflected in high marks and impeccable results) granted to students.
- Teaching Excellence Award: (criteria: for perfect and innovative teaching practices and high dedication to academic mastery).
- Research Excellence Award: (criteria: for insightful scientific and innovative approach to research practices).
- Researcher of the Year Award: (criteria: for perfect, highest standard research mastery).
This year the award was granted to 52 students for their high academic results reflected in GPA levels and for 17 faculty members for their dedication and mastery in teaching and research.
