American University Kyiv participated in 2025 ASU-Cintana Presidents’ Summit
The 2025 ASU–Cintana Presidents’ Summit, an annual event organized by Arizona State University (ASU) in partnership with Cintana Education, took place in Tempe, Arizona, from April 14–17, 2025. Senior leaders from ASU-Cintana network partner universities had a powerful opportunity to discuss global strategies, exchange governance experiences, and explore future directions for collaboration.
The event brought together representatives from over 30 partner universities across 27+ countries worldwide. The 2025 Summit discussions centered around Learning at the Speed of Light — a new spectrum of possibility at the intersection of artificial intelligence and human ingenuity.
AUK President Dan Rice outlined, “We are proud to be a part of Cintana Alliance and exchange experiences and innovations with our colleagues from 22 universities all around the globe. Together we search for better solutions and technologies to make education higher quality and more accessible for all current and potential learners”.
Students in the ASU-Cintana Alliance have the unique opportunity to earn dual degrees from their home university and ASU through Powered by ASU degree pathways. One of the summit's panel discussions featured a speech by AUK-ASU alumna Elina Bodzhek, which was very inspiring:
"One of the most unforgettable moments of this journey was visiting Arizona State University and receiving our diplomas from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Standing there, thousands of miles from Ukraine, it was a powerful reminder that education transcends borders—it's not just about knowledge—it's about the opportunities, the connections, and the mindset we develop along the way.
