On October 21, American University Kyiv Psychology Program hosted a trauma-informed workshop “First Aid of the Soul: Group-Based Approaches using Creative Arts Therapy & Low-intensity EMDR” led by Nathalie Timtchenko, founder of First Aid of the Soul (FAS).
During the workshop, Nathalie introduced integrative, creative approaches aimed at supporting individuals and families affected by grief and trauma. Participants discovered how art, movement, and storytelling can foster safety, connection, and resilience within communities.

American University Kyiv Psychology Program is deeply grateful to Nathalie and the FAS team for their dedication to trauma recovery and for sharing their field experience with our students and faculty.
A big thank you to everyone who participated in our recent workshop!
