AUK Dnipro Campus partners joined the congratulations during the Year Opening Ceremony 2025 in Dnipro

On September 9, during the Year Opening Ceremony 2025 in Dnipro, our partners and co-creators of AUK Dnipro Campus — Borys Markov (Board of Directors member ATB Corporation) and Mykola Demchenko (co-founder of legal company “Prave Dilo”) joined the congratulations. Thanks to their initiative and support, as well as the efforts of the Dnipro business community, it has become possible to establish high-quality American education in the city and the region.

Borys Markov emphasized the significance of the AUK project in Dnipro,

This is more than a step for the university — it is a unique opportunity for the region. AUK Dnipro Campus is a space where dreams become reality, where ideas grow into major projects, and where a generation is formed that will change Ukraine. Together with Dnipro’s business community, we support the most talented.”

Mykola Demchenko addressed the new students, urging them to seek their calling: “What is my way and who am I in this life?” He encouraged them to search boldly for answers, to try, to make mistakes, and to learn — because that is how a generation capable of transforming the country is formed.

Special gratitude to Menorah Center and its CEO, Svitlana Yermakova, for creating a comfortable and inspiring space for the campus. As Svitlana remarked,

We are happy to be a platform where breakthrough ideas and new universities are born. We do everything to ensure that the city attracts talents and that the best people stay here, develop the Dnipro and implement the best world ideas in Ukraine.”

On behalf of the university, AUK Vice President Oleksii Shershnov, one of the initiators of the creation of AUK in Kyiv and Dnipro, thanked local businesses for their support,

Thank you to all Dnipro businesses that support American education in Dnipro and provide the opportunity for young people to study in their own country according to the American standards of education.” He also stressed that the knowledge and skills students gain will be a vital resource for Ukraine’s reconstruction and development.

Congratulations to the first cohort of AUK Dnipro Campus!
