AUK invites all potential Bachelor students for the next “hello, AUK” online sessions to meet AUK rector, Enrollment Director, and faculty members.
On June 16th, we had the first such meeting having presented the programs in Business Administration, Global Management, and Software Engineering. Special attention was paid to the U.S. standards of education, unique to the Ukrainian market. The AUK Rector, Roman Sheremeta stressed that they are based on the academic integrity, transparency, and accessibility of faculty. His speech was supported by Jacob McGrew, program manager at the School of Business Administration, who asked the participants to name 4Cs on which American education is based. These Cs include - creativity, communication, critical thinking, and collaboration. In the American system of education, Jacob stresses, the professor acts as a facilitator, making a very collaborative atmosphere, where students are able to retain information better. Also, Jacob shared that he still keeps in contact with some of his professors to ask for their advice and mentorship.
Roman Sheremeta added that at the end of each program, AUK will require internships which is a real involvement in the business environment. By the end of it, the student should present the real project with real KPIs and figures. “We are here to make your academic life as close to real business as it is possible. Our success is your long-term success and prosperity of Ukraine”, – added the rector inviting the student to join AUK.
