Today, AUK kicked off a new academic year for bachelors — 147 first-year students have started their academic journeys at AUK Campus!
Ahead of the start of the year, they took part in a two-day Student Orientation Day: they met classmates, program managers, faculty, and the university team, as well as got an overview of the resources and support services available at AUK.
On the first day, AUK Head of Student Life Department Bilal Y. welcomed the freshmen and introduced them to the university’s mission, values, and Alma Mater song.
AUK program managers Olena Yencheva, Iryna Prokopyshyn, and Olha Yampolska also addressed AUK students with opening remarks while sharing presentations about educational technologies, apps, and tools at AUK. Students also learned about the principles of academic integrity and program opportunities (including Arizona State University courses and the dual degree program).
“Welcome to the AUK student community! Our goal is to create a supportive learning environment where you can discover and develop your abilities for future professional growth,” said Olena Yencheva, Senior Program Manager at EPAM School of Digital Technologies.
“Take as much as possible from your studies, the university’s resources, and the opportunity for a dual degree – let this year be a step towards your dreams and career goals,” added Iryna Prokopyshyn, Senior Program Manager at School of Management.
“Welcome to the AUK community – energetic, ambitious, and supportive. Our team is always there to help resolve any issues of student life,” emphasized Olga Yampolska, Program Manager at School of Management.
On behalf of the AUK team, we wish our freshmen an engaging and productive year of study, new friendships, and a vibrant student life!
