Exactly one year ago, we opened as a new private university in Ukraine powered by Arizona State University and built on American standards of education. It was a significant moment that brought together all our partners, members of AUK Supervisory Board, business, and education representatives, special guests and friends. We were full of energy and support to get started, and we did so despite the russian aggression in Ukraine and its challenges to all of us.
During this year, we opened a university, launched two schools, five degree programs, enrolled our first 152 undergraduate and graduate students, held 12 AUK Talks with 16 prominent international speakers, 3 online “hello, AUK” meetings, launched two LLL programs and now have the first LLL graduates, launched AUK Library, online knowledge hub, which is by far one of the best in the country.
In 2023 there is much more to come:
- Fall, 2023 admission is in progress
- 9 educational programs including 4 new and unique ones for the Ukrainian market
- 4 new LLL programs
- ongoing program of wartime guaranteed scholarships
- first Master graduates at the end of 2023
- first AUK students entering Arizona State University
