Even while learning online, AUK students continue to thrive! Recently, AUK students voted for five Student Council representatives who will hold regular online and in-person meetings to discuss ways to improve the AUK student experience both inside and outside the classroom.
The AUK Student Council is an autonomous student government that is an essential part of an American-style education and provides our students with important leadership skills that will benefit them in the future.
The Student Council offers students excellent ways to get involved in the inner workings of their university and allows students to advocate for their peers by working together as a representative body through which students can voice their concerns and interests.
Last week, the Student Council members held an in-person meeting to discuss and determine priorities for the 2022-2023 academic year. Some ideas they discussed include running a hackathon, inviting guest speakers to campus who students would like to hear from, and even creating an event to celebrate the end of the academic year.
