On January 26-28, AUK Student Council participated in the student self-government conference, which was held by the Alliance of Ukrainian Universities.
For three days, students from universities and associated partners of the Alliance, the National University "Ostroh Academy", and American University Kyiv worked out joint steps to improve interaction between students, shared their own experience and discussed the challenges of their self-governments, as well as developed the best solutions to solve current student problems.
“The delegation from our university was very grateful for this opportunity. We gained valuable knowledge that will be useful to AUK student self-government in the future. We are currently working on one project with representatives of the Alliance as during the congress we managed to create not only excellent communication with other universities, but also to show creativity and purposefulness in improving the work of the student self-governments,” noted Anhelina Karpuk, President of AUK Student Council.
The Alliance of Ukrainian Universities was founded in the spring of 2023 in response to the challenges faced by the Ukrainian state and society after Russia’s full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022. The Alliance currently includes Dnipro University of Technology, Kyiv School of Economics, National University of Water and Environmental Engineering, Sumy State University, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, and Ukrainian Catholic University.
