AUK gave me a unique opportunity to meet new people, extremely well-prepared, with experience in various areas. My Program, Master of Global Management, provides a variety of different and useful subjects, like Global Security Systems, Marketing, Countries and Markets, and Global Leadership. These programs are structured professionally, are up-to-date and make you think out of the box. Lectures are usually very dynamic, full of energy and interaction between students and the lecturer. The education process is a combination of online lectures and offline on campus. Both are very well structured and of course, lecturers navigate the process in a very suitable form and way.  This is absolutely a different way of education in comparison with Ukrainian universities. I found education at AUK extremely useful for my career paths and for my further career development. Especially when it comes to professional effectiveness or global leadership and personal development, these objects have been applied by myself during my day-to-day work. It is always a great pleasure to use in practice absolutely a new portion of valuable expertise and knowledge which you got to know recently. To add more, guest speakers and guest lecturers are just magnificent. I can confirm from my side that I have never seen such a number of famous and well known subject matter experts visiting a university on regular basis, both online and in person. I highly encourage to enroll to AUK because this is education that gives freedom. I can assure from my own experience.

I’d like to share my experience studying in the Bachelor of Marketing Science program at American University Kyiv. I highly recommend this university because it offers a unique and highly practical education. Throughout my marketing program, every subject was directly relevant to my career. The professors are not just theorists but also practitioners, which significantly enhances our learning. For instance, the “Communication in Business” course, taught by Liudmyla Dolhonovska, was incredibly practical. She not only explains the theory but also shares her professional experiences. Additionally, our university frequently invites successful guest lecturers to share their insights. Another inspiring course is “Mathematics for Businesses,” taught by Volodymyr Vakhitov. For the first time, I enjoyed mathematics because we learned to see its practical applications, not just calculations. Our education is also based on the Arizona State University program, allowing us to get a dual degree. And if you compare the price you pay for an American education in the USA and at AUK, you will see that you win significantly. AUK campus is located near the metro, which is very convenient for students. A very pleasant atmosphere here truly inspires and gives the feeling of being in an American educational institution. Even during online classes, I miss the campus, where it is comfortable to study and communicate.

AUK is the place where you can make your dreams come true and achieve your goals. I am a Global Management student and I can claim the university gives a high-quality education. Strong faculty, versatile courses powered by ASU, practice-oriented tasks and projects, being flexible for students' needs – it is all about AUK. After my first year at university, I was able to get a Junior Project Manager and being promoted to Middle within half a year. AUK played a huge role in this fast career growth. It gives not only knowledge but an opportunity to practice. Furthermore, the professors are open not only to answer the question regarding their course but also to share their experience and help you within your academic and career path.  Even though AUK provides great online learning experience: well organized Zoom classes as well as Canvas system, on-campus education brings even more value to it. It gives a space for more collaboration within the class as well as Student life related activities. There are many clubs and events in AUK too.

My educational journey in the field of IT began with the decision to enroll in the Master of Software Engineering program at AUK. This decision was a key step in my professional development, and I can confidently say that the education here has far exceeded my expectations. The program offers a unique opportunity to combine deep theoretical knowledge with practical experience, which is extremely important for a successful career in IT. One of the most valuable aspects of studying at AUK is its international perspective and focus on innovation. Faculty are world-class professionals who not only share their expertise but also inspire students to achieve new heights. AUK opened doors to new opportunities for me, including an internship in the USA. I interned as a Software Engineer at Casey’s in Ankeny, Iowa state. This experience allowed me not only to apply the knowledge I had gained in practice but also to immerse myself in the culture and business environment of the USA. As a woman in IT, I feel a special responsibility to break stereotypes and encourage other girls not to be afraid to enter this field. Here, I have met many talented women who, like me, strive to change the world through technology. Thanks to this experience, I am now working at Eleks as a software engineer, developing mobile applications for iOS. I want my example to inspire other girls to choose a path in IT – a field where you can not only find yourself but also make a significant contribution to the development of technology. AUK is a place where knowledge truly gives freedom, and I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to be part of this unique educational community.
