American University Kyiv and Deloitte Ukraine have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) — an important step towards the joint development of education and support of young talents in Ukraine. This new cooperation will provide AUK students with opportunities for internships at Deloitte, mentorship from the company’s professionals, and participation in projects that will better prepare them for careers in finance, consulting, and related fields.
Deloitte Ukraine is a consulting and auditing firm that is part of the global Deloitte network. The company provides industry-leading audit and assurance services, tax and legal services, consulting services, as well as financial advisory and risk management services. Collaboration with Deloitte gives AUK students access to best practices and an extensive professional network.
During the signing of the memorandum, Katrina Mafardzhe, a Manager at the Tax and Legal Department at Deloitte Ukraine, emphasized,
“We believe that combining the resources of business and higher education creates real career pathways for students and shapes a new generation of professionals capable of meeting the challenges of today. Deloitte is proud to join this initiative together with American University Kyiv.”
