Dan Rice, President of American University Kyiv, participated in the conference “Education for a New Ukraine”.

He shared his impressions of meeting with the Ukrainian educational community and his vision of the role of international partnership in renewing Ukrainian education:

“I am deeply impressed by Ukrainian educators — people of incredible strength of spirit who teach children even in bomb shelters, caring for their safety and future. These are true heroes of our time. It was an honor for me to participate in the conference “Education for a New Ukraine” and see the country’s determination to introduce the latest technologies and innovative approaches to education.

Based on this, partnerships between Ukrainian and American universities, such as the AUK and Arizona State University model, become especially valuable. We bring the best global educational practices to Ukraine, provide instruction in English, and offer double degrees, allowing Ukrainian youth to receive a world-class education while remaining in their native country.”
