Dr. Stefanie Babst has granted AUK the rights to publish her book “Blind spots – Why the West must have the courage to alter its strategy towards Russia” in Ukrainian

Today we are proud to announce that our AUK Talks speaker Dr. Stefanie Babst, Former NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy, world-renowned strategic advisor, publisher and speaker has granted AUK the rights to publish her book “Blind spots – Why the West must have the courage to alter its strategy towards Russia” in Ukrainian language. Dr. Babst presented the Ukrainian translation and publication of the book to AUK, and in March we will see it in AUK library webpage and spread publicly to broad audiences in Ukraine.

The book, published in April 2023 in German, English and Estonian attracted a wide international attention. In this book Dr. Babst shares personal "inside NATO stories" and thoughts about whether the transatlantic allies are prepared for a long conflict with Putin; do they have the necessary political resolve and determination to confront a terrorist regime.

«It is a great honor for us to be involved in spreading the truth, debunking myths about the Russian aggressor, and highlighting the real and political situation from the side of experts. We are deeply grateful to Dr. Stefanie Babst for her tireless work that resulted in this book, her belief in Ukraine and its future, and for the unique opportunity to spread this book among the Ukrainian audience” – outlined Mark Voyger, the AUK Director of Master’s Program in Global Management, Associate Professor in American University Kyiv.
