An exclusive meeting was held at American University Kyiv with business partners and friends of the university, featuring Ambassador Kurt Volker, who is the co-founder of AUK, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and former U.S. special representative for Ukraine negotiations.
The discussion included notable figures such as Dan Rice, President of AUK; Andrii Korol, Development Director at AUK; and leaders from the Ukrainian business sector, including Igor Tykhonov, Chairman of the Board of CREDITWEST Bank (Ukraine), Mariia Osyka, Director of Agribusiness Investments at NCH Capital Ukraine, along with other partners and guests of the university.
In an open Q&A format, we addressed global political and economic trends, the international context for Ukraine and its business landscape, as well as the role of education in shaping a new generation of leaders — responsible, strategic, and prepared to work amid turbulence.
During the event, the AUK team presented a new program, Bachelor in Agribusiness Management — a modern response to the challenges of the time. The curriculum will be designed according to the academic standards of Arizona State University, incorporating elements of AI, analytics, international market engagement, and systems management.
