We are delighted to announce a new academic collaboration between American University Kyiv and Hochschule Fresenius University of Applied Sciences (HS Fresenius), Berlin.

Within this partnership, Prof. Dr. Hanna Shvindina, Associate Professor at AUK and expert in Strategic and Global Management, joins Dr. Yuliya Shtaltovna, Professor of International and Intercultural Management and Program Director of International Business Management (Bachelor’s and Master’s Programs) at HS Fresenius, in co-teaching the course "International & Global Management."

This course aims to develop students’ understanding of how multinational corporations (MNCs) operate, cooperate, and compete in global environments, exploring the dynamics of international partnerships, cross-cultural management, and global leadership.

Prof. Hanna Shvindina brings her expertise in Coopetition and Leadership in Global Management Practices, fostering collaborative learning and integrating real-world examples that bridge theory and practice.

This cooperation goes far beyond enriching the learning experience of students from both universities – it creates a vibrant space for genuine exchange of ideas, perspectives, and the energy of a new generation of leaders. Through discussions of best international practices, we aim to unleash the potential of our students — helping them discover their managerial talent, shape their own vision of global business, and transform bold ideas into real strategies

"I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to teach and discuss my favorite topics: Coopetition and Leadership, within a global management context. It’s inspiring to co-create a space for dialogue and learning with such an exceptional colleague, Dr. Yulia Shtaltovna," – Prof. Dr. Hanna Shvindina.
