Liudmyla Dolhonovska, AUK Chief of Staff, conducted a lecture-discussion to the students of the Ukrainian Leadership Academy dedicated to leadership, strategic communications, experience working in the public sector, and responsibility in times of challenges.
“I am glad to have the opportunity to talk to the active young people who create their own volunteer projects, are interested in politics, participate in various projects, and communicate with opinion leaders of Ukraine and the world. I am sure that in the future we will see these young people in leadership positions in Ukraine,” outlined Liudmyla Dolhonovska.
During her speech, Ms. Liudmyla spoke about her experience of the first war days, her work in the Armed Forces of Ukraine as an advisor of strategic communications to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valeriy Zaluzhny, as well as her book with memories of the first months of the russian invasion, “The Iron General. Lessons of Humanity.” Students had the opportunity to learn how military strategic communications are built during the war, especially in its most critical moments, in the first hours of the invasion, in it’s the most tragic and the most heroic moments, and what lessons can be learned for the state and society.
Ukrainian Leadership Academy is a space for young people with a strong mission: to form a new generation of leaders who are ready to take responsibility for the future of Ukraine. Its students are engaged in volunteer initiatives, deepening their knowledge in the fields of politics, economics, history and strategic thinking.
“We live in times when every decision has weight for the future. Strategic communications is not only a tool for influencing and implementing political goals, but also a way to build trust, unite people and help them find their place in a great cause. It is important to share experience and remember the lessons of the past. It is through students like those at the Leadership Academy those values and knowledge are transmitted to change Ukraine for the better,” added Liudmyla Dolhonovska.
We thank the Ukrainian Leadership Academy for the inspiration and creation of a community of active youth who are ready to be the driver of positive changes in the country.
We believe that such meetings will help the students realize their potential and make a significant contribution to the growth of Ukraine!
