Senior Software Engineer at Google, Viktor Turskyi, visited American University Kyiv and shared his experience in software architecture design with the students. Master’s students in Software Engineering gained valuable insights into making and documenting architectural decisions, as well as the concept of intellectual control versus statistical control in system architecture.
In an engaging and interactive environment, Viktor participated in discussions on architectural katas during the Software Design and Architecture course alongside Sergiy Tytenko, Deputy Dean of EPAM School of Digital Technologies.
“Active involvement of industry experts is an effective way to not only impart knowledge but also shape students’ perspectives and attitudes toward real-world challenges in software engineering. This makes education a meaningful contribution to skill development and career growth,” noted Sergiy Tytenko.
We sincerely thank Viktor for his time, ideas, and the inspiration he brought to our students!
