The first AUK Year-End Banquet, hosted by AUK Student Council at the AUK campus

We are excited to tell you about the first AUK Year-End Banquet, hosted by AUK Student Council at the AUK campus. The academic year at AUK has recently ended, so it was a good reason to celebrate the first year, as it was busy and stressful. This banquet was also a way to preserve all the memories that students had during the past year.

The Year-End Banquet brought together about 90 guests – students, staff, and professors – to celebrate the end of the first year at AUK. The event started with an inspiring speech from Dan Rice, AUK President. Afterward, there was a quiz battle about AUK, student life, our campus, and the community. The top 3 participants received AUK-branded prizes, and congratulations to Maryna Sukhinina, AUK Executive Director of Operations, who was the winner!

The main goal of the Year-End event was to finally meet our classmates and professors in-person. That’s why we spent our time chatting, meeting new people, and playing games together. It was all perfectly finished with a live musical performance of Adda laurel. After the event, 11,715 UAH of donations were gathered to help Kherson evacuation efforts.
