The State Inspection of Architecture and Urban Planning of Ukraine has officially opened the restored River Port building in Kyiv, now home to the American University Kyiv

We are proud to announce that State Inspection of Architecture and Urban Planning of Ukraine took into operation the restored historical building of the River Port in Kyiv, where today American University Kyiv is located.

On April 7, the chief inspectors of State Inspection of Architecture and Urban Planning of Ukraine issued a certificate of acceptance into operation of the 1st stage of construction – the main premises of the university.

Considering the fact that the building has been inactive for decades, we are proud to bring a new life into this beautiful and historical premises and to begin another milestone in the history of our university right here on campus.

At this great moment, we would like to express our special thanks to our colleagues and partners for their great job, efforts, dedication to all details, willingness to protect this unique architectural entity and passion that helped make it a reality.
