U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), in partnership with American University Kyiv and Mercy Corps, recently hosted a working lunch at the AUK campus in Kyiv with the participation of Taras Vysotskyi, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.

The discussion focused on the Ministry’s priorities for 2026, wartime agricultural logistics and grain exports, and the challenges facing the industry in the coming years. Particular attention was paid to how innovation and technology can strengthen the resilience of the Ukrainian agricultural sector.


The discussion was joined by:

  • Vicki Aken, Country Director of Mercy Corps,
  • Dan Rice, President of AUK,
  • Irina Paliashvili, President & CEO of USUBC,
  • Taras Vysotskyi, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.

The meeting brought together USUBC members and representatives of the agriculture, food processing, technology, and logistics sectors. It created a space for practical dialogue on strengthening cooperation with the Ministry and promoting innovative solutions to support the sustainability and long-term growth of Ukraine.
