On November 12, 2025, Viktor Putrenko, professor at the EPAM School of Digital Technologies at AUK, participated in the inaugural meeting as part of the UNESCO – RAM initiative and multilateral consultations for the preparation of the National Report on AI Readiness Country Report for Ukraine, funded by the European Union.

The goal of this research is to assess Ukraine's readiness for the ethical and responsible implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) in accordance with the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence and its approved assessment methodology. The final report will be published on the UNESCO Global AI Ethics and Governance Observatory, along with other national assessments.

The event gathered representatives from the Government of Ukraine, international organizations, academia, civil society, and the private sector. During the meeting, an overview of the current state of AI implementation in Ukraine was presented, along with the project methodology for key national stakeholders. The research results are planned to be presented in April next year.
