Adjunct Professor and a Founding Director of Master of Technology Leadership and AI program at AUK, Oleksandr Romanko stressed in the interview with Dev.ua that to remain the core and growing industry of the Ukrainian economy in the most challenging times for Ukraine, the state and also employers should give significant attention to education, particularly in IT, and Ukrainian IT professionals need to get out of their comfort zone and see opportunities.

The expert states: it is necessary to start with educational programs, where it is necessary to add career centricity. Another direction is when companies, in cooperation with universities, implement and develop scientific projects or software, which can then be sold more expensively to their customers. And finally, the important point is to strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights.
