On November 2nd, AUK conducted the first meeting for the students of Kyiv private schools to share AUK's vision, values and to talk on the current international trends in education.
About 70 students from Novopecherska School, Liko-School, Gymnasium A+, and MIDGARD - освітня територія, as well as students from the AUK Prep course, gathered in the beautiful AUK campus. During the event, they learned more about American education and student life from AUK representatives – Roman Sheremeta (AUK Rector), Roman Dubas (Director of Enrollment), and Jake McGrew (AUK Students Life Manager and lecturer).
AUK guests Dmitriy Korbut (Operational Director, McDonald's Ukraine) and Julia Bashinskaya (People Advisory Specialist, EPAM Systems) told students about the current requirements for employees of their international companies and what skills are already and will be necessary for a successful career.
