On November 2nd, AUK conducted the first meeting for the students of Kyiv private schools to share AUK's vision, values and to talk on the current international trends in education.

About 70 students from Novopecherska School, Liko-School, Gymnasium A+, and MIDGARD - освітня територія, as well as students from the AUK Prep course, gathered in the beautiful AUK campus. During the event, they learned more about American education and student life from AUK representatives – Roman Sheremeta (AUK Rector), Roman Dubas (Director of Enrollment), and Jake McGrew (AUK Students Life Manager and lecturer).

AUK guests Dmitriy Korbut (Operational Director, McDonald's Ukraine) and Julia Bashinskaya (People Advisory Specialist, EPAM Systems) told students about the current requirements for employees of their international companies and what skills are already and will be necessary for a successful career.

«You are lucky to have the opportunity to get an education at a university based on American academic standards and work in global companies. It will give you the best skills and global mindset for realizing your talents in Ukraine and help develop the country", said Dmitriy Korbut, Operational Director McDonald’s Ukraine addressing the audience.

"EPAM Systems is proud to be a partner of American University Kyiv. We invite you, future students and professionals, to become a part of tech transformations of Ukraine education and economics", stressed Julia Bashinskaya, People Advisory Specialist, EPAM Systems.

"The AUK motto is "Education that gives freedom." We believe that freedom is one of the crucial values in life. Our goal is to give you the best high education as a tool that will allow you to have freedom in all its senses", added Roman Sheremeta, AUK Rector.
