Last week, a large-scale conference on IT education "Synergy. IT Business & IT Education" brought together IT business leaders, public and private sector representatives in Kyiv.
AUK executive director of Lifelong Learning Eugene Bondarets at the panel discussion "Leadership, Soft Skills, Lifelong Learning and other trends in the job market" shared his vision regarding the demand for soft skills and the benefits of AUK LLL programs. In particular, he stressed:
"According to a study by the World Economic Forum, 6 out of 10 employees will need training by 2027. We observe an increase in the demand for training in those areas that help in communication with foreign organizations and companies: strategic negotiations, intercultural aspects, global management.
At AUK we also see a growing demand for the leadership and soft skills training such as emotional intelligence, creative and critical thinking, etc. This is due to the need to build effective and comfortable relations in the teams with war-experience people including veterans, their family members, those who lost loved ones, homes and businesses”.
