On March 20, the Vogue ball and Ukrainian poetry coexisted on the same stage at AUK Campus. DSP theater community organized an event, which included an event management workshop, a performance "Chuprynka: feast of freedom" based on poems by Hrytsko Chuprynka, and a follow-up discussion.
Anabel Ramirez, the theater actress and director of DSP theater community, held an event management workshop for AUK students to practice how to organize and popularize poetry events.
At the performance “CHUPRYNKA: feast of freedom” for students and AUK employees the audience could watch the Vogue Ball, which took place right on the stage. Hrytsko Chuprynka's poetry, bright costumes and an incredible atmosphere left no one indifferent.
After the performance there was a discussion of what was seen on the stage together with the actors. Spectators had the opportunity to chat and share their impressions.
The event was held as part of the DIY University campaign as part of the All-Ukrainian National Poetry Reading Week 2024 organized by the Ukrainian Book Institute.
