School of management

The School of Management is one of the first schools launched in 2022 at American University Kyiv. It offers high-quality higher education related to business and global management in both BS and MS programs. The School’s programs are based on the curriculum designed at Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University, supporting the dual degree model and giving students the possibility to gain both AUK and ASU diplomas.

About School of management

Each program is designed in close cooperation with industry partners with a focus on the set of skills that are in high demand in business, as in the Business Administration program, which prepares future business leaders to manage resources, people, and technologies, or in the Global Management program, a unique one for the Ukrainian market, which provides the skills necessary for global organizations in Ukraine and across the world with the focus on international economics, inter-cultural communications, and other skills necessary in a global environment.

One unique feature of the School's curriculum is its emphasis on practical skills related to conducting business in foreign countries. Students are encouraged to develop skills in core areas such as negotiations, marketing, and financial decision- making—all taught with a global perspective.

At the School, students will have to apply their knowledge practically with real-life projects during internships. Moreover, in some courses, such as Global Entrepreneurship, some of the best projects in that course will be introduced to potential investors from the U.S.

Dean of the School of Management
Yuriy Bots

At the School of Management, we strive not only to provide a good degree for our students but to create a meaningful change in Ukraine and globally. All our programs are based on the curriculum of Arizona State University (ASU), and they are efficient and close to actual business life with a focus on skills that are applicable immediately after graduation. Our goal and desire are to see our students succeed. And I am happy to contribute to creating an outstanding School that would raise the modern business leaders of the future and, in the process, help Ukraine rebuild its economy.
